Not much to say – he only got a few minutes at the end of the game when it was already well won.  Long may this continue! ;-)

Hull (H) (FA Cup)

The goal machine was only allowed 8 minutes (well 13 when you add the 5 minutes of “injury” time for Hull’s time wasting). Didn’t really do anything great or too rubbish, though he did appear to want to play centre forward rather than right midfield – and maybe Walcott’s pace would have been more useful in the last few minutes….

On the positive side,  at this momemnt in time, Ebouegoals is now the most up to date record of Eboue’s goal record at Arsenal! Arsenal’s own website still has him on only 3 goals and soccerbase tend to lag a little bit. Wikipedia was a bit wrong… …so I corrected it! ;-) . Finally on this list of links, there is also a twitter update which actually updates faster than here. (I will try to see how I can add it to the site at some point)

Finally, a bit of reflection. Since I started this site – Eboue has doubled his goal tally! At this rate Henry’s record could be up for grabs… …you heard it here first.

Eboue – the Goal Machine!!!!

He was only on for 7 minutes but manages to score 2 goals. One was a penalty but he did score it emphatically.

At the time I thought he was a bit of a selfish c*nt when he picked up the ball and marched to the box giving no-one else an option to take it as I (and others) thought Arshavin was on a hat-trick. As it turned out the first goal of the game was an own goal (not an owl goal!) so I apologise for being so critical at the time….

….maybe I was wrong about him all along! ;-)

Thanks to Arsenallist for the goals:-

Roma (A)

Another poor performance from Eboue, but at least in his defence everyone was a bit rubbish and the Roma goal wasn’t his fault (stand up Mr Gallas).

Replaced by Walcott on 75 mins but Theo didn’t really do a great deal either.

At least he didn’t have to take a penalty….

After 2 wonder goals, the wonder of SONG to EBOUE and GOAL!!!!!!!!

Hoping that updating this now will have a positive impact on events in Rome! (hello Colin)

Arsenal Wall + Eboue = Hole in Arsenal wall = Equaliser for west brom!

At least he undid some of this by providing an assist…

Have to be honest and admit that my motivation with this site has waned somewhat, and I am not filing this until almost a week after the event.

Game started well without Eboue(! ;-) )  and Arshavin looked like the real deal. Then as the game dragged on, we discobered the horrendous downside of Eboue not starting…. ….he comes on as sub when we desparate to win the game.

Oh, god, god, god, god, god! Taken 3 days to come to terms with the total stupidity Eboue performed on Sunday. Not enough that he was playing (in fairness pretty well to start) but then to get sent off for 2 such stupid offences just makes me so,so angry!!!

I really didn’t think he could get any worse, yet he has exceeded my expectations with this performance! And to come the day after this “puff piece” in the Guardian – all too much to bear ;-(

A dull, dull game and though hopes were raised when Eboue was taken off (replaced by Vela) things did not improve.

Not to sound like Marvin (the paranoid android) – but God I’m depressed!

How nice to start a game with Eboue on the pitch even if we had to put up with a midfield of Song, Diaby, Denilson and Nasri.

A  poor game made poorer when he did eventually find a way on (for Sagna) and we were lucky to come away with a point.
